A dealer was found to have returned to old ways when he was caught supplying cannabis.

Liam Munro (35), of Hilton Court, Inverness, was jailed for 15 months in 2017 for drug offences.

In October of this year he appeared at the city’s sheriff court to admit being concerned in the supply of cannabis in August 2020.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard police obtained a search warrant for his home on August 21, 2020 and found cannabis, a grinder, scales and a mobile phone.

The cannabis was said to be of a nominal value.

The phone was found to have 19 messages from people wanting to buy the Class B drug.

The court heard Munro was supplying to friends.

Sheriff Robert Frazer imposed a 24-month drug treatment and testing order.
