Timeless Spa and Beauty on Market Brae Steps has announced that all of this month's appointments have been cancelled.

The move follows yesterday's announcement by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon that a national Covid-19 lockdown would begin today.

In a statement Caoimhe Simpson, who owns the Inverness business, said: "Here we go again. All bookings are cancelled for January and I’ll review this towards the end of the month. We just have to keep pushing through. Thank you so much for continuing to choose Timeless – it really means the world to me."

She added that she was hoping to be able to reopen her diary for appointments for February pending the review at the end of this month.
