Inverness Community Safety Partnership 2023 could benefit from council funding if councillors approve the application.

Inverness BID had applied to Highland Council for £9700 from the Inverness Common Good Fund for the project.

Since 2010 the partnership has taken over an expanded role for community safety in the wider Inverness area.

It has been recommended that the application should be approved and the matter will be decided tomorrow by members of the council's city of Inverness area committee.

If the committee approves the application funding would be subject to the approval of the 2023/24 budget.
