A group of Inverness Rotarians recently rode out from North Kessock on a 24-mile tour of the Black Isle.

They battled adverse weather conditions and the ride was part of a nationwide Rotary Ride for Prostate Cancer.

They raised nearly £2300 between them and Thomas Prag, from Rotary Club of Inverness, said: "All were senior members – some had e-bikes to help them on their way but they all had to cope with changeable conditions.

"The skies opening up within the first half mile drenching the team and making the road surface tricky, not to mention high winds but they finished in bright sunshine."
