Inverness pizza take away reports temporary closure due to staff members being tested for Covid

A popular pizza take away shop has told customers it is closed until further notice after staff members were being tested for Covid.

1st Pizza Direct on Glenurquhart Road posted on its Facebook page to say the shop would be closed until results of the tests were known.

In the message, a spokesman said: "Unfortunately a few of our staff members have had to go get tested today.

"Until we get all results back we're going to have to keep the shop closed. "Our best intentions are to keep everyone safe, including our staff."

He added: "We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Hope to see you all soon.

"Take care and stay safe."
