Inverness pair face charge of assault to danger of life

A man and a woman have appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on a charge of assault to danger of life and robbery.

Lewis Mackay (31) and Charlene Seel (32), both from Inverness, made no plea and were committed for further examination.

Mackay was remanded in custody by Sheriff Gary Aitken and Seel was released on bail.
