Inverness opticians celebrates 25 years providing healthcare services on the High Street

A local opticians has celebrated 25 years providing vital healthcare services on Inverness High Street.

Specsavers Inverness has been looking after the eyes and ears of locals since 1999. The team marked the milestone with a celebration dinner and long service award presentations.

All 30 staff members attended the special event, held at the Beaufort Hotel, to mark the quarter-of-a-century celebration.

Andrew Carr, optometry director at Specsavers Inverness, said: “We are so proud to have served the people of Inverness for 25 years.

“Over that time, we have built a loyal customer base and continue to attract new customers thanks to our outstanding team and the first-class service and expertise they provide.

‘We are lucky to have such a great team and we also used this event to acknowledge our appreciation for their dedication – they are instrumental in our continued success.

‘We look forward to continuing to serve the people of Inverness for many more years to come.”

Long service awards were presented to Sanda Carr and Elizabeth Ross who celebrated 25 years working with Specsavers; Emma McGuaran who celebrated 15 years; Andrea Farrely, Stephen Carr, Lisa Downe and Arthur MacDonald who celebrated 10 years; and Stephen Mottram, James Jack and Ellen McKenzie who celebrated five years.
