North police have appealed for help in tracing a 57-year-old man reported missing from Inverness as concern grows for his welfare.

Robert Shepherd was last seen around 5pm on Monday, 15 May, in the Aultnaskiach area of Drummond, Inverness.

He is described as around 6ft 1ins, of stocky build with short, dark brown hair that is greying. He has a tattoo on his left shoulder.

When last seen Robert was wearing a mustard and burgundy coloured gilet, (body warmer) a light blue hooded top with a zip, a white and blue check shirt, blue chinos and green and brown trainers with orange laces.

Constable Darren Shield said: “Concerns are growing for Robert’s welfare and we are keen to make sure he is safe and well.

“I am asking anyone who has seen Robert or might know where he is to get in touch. If Robert hears about this appeal then I urge him to get in touch with us or his family.”

Anyone who can help should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 4047 of Monday, 15 May, 2023.
