Inverness MasterChef finalist Sarah Rankin promises dram good pairing for Inverness event

An Inverness star chef has announced a new tasting event in the city for lovers of good food and whisky.

MasterChef finalist Sarah Rankin has announced she will be hosting a an eight-course tasting menu at The Malt Room at 7pm on Saturday, September, 16.

The Church Street bar's owner Matt MacPherson will be curating an exceptional drinks flight to perfectly complement the menu.

She said in her newsletter: "Join us for an unforgettable evening that promises to be a night filled with incredible food and innovative drinks and is not to be missed.

"The Malt Room's tasting lounge provides the perfect intimate setting for you to immerse yourself in food and drinks that celebrate the best of Scotland.

"I'll create a fabulous eight-course small plates menu, paired with an incredible, specially curated drinks list from Malt Room owner, Matt MacPherson"

Priced at £120 per person, tickets for the event have been released but will be very limited.
