A SPECIALIST regional business that has helped hundreds if not thousands of people with reduced mobility across the Highlands celebrates its 20th anniversary this week.
And to mark the occasion City Mobility has delivered an Inverness man his new scooter and a chocolate hamper to thank him for being their most loyal customer.
Brian Kane has leased a scooter through the scheme since 2010.
City Mobility is the only business north of the central belt which, as well as private sales and servicing, works in partnership with national charity Motability to deliver powered wheelchairs and scooters to those who need them.
It does this work through the national charity’s lease scheme, covering from Aberdeen to the Western Isles, and Shetland to Fort William.
Mr Kane said: “The scheme is fantastic.
“I just pay a fixed weekly amount and I don’t have any other bills to pay because everything is included.”
Carol Elliot, City Mobility’s managing director said: “Brian was due to get his fifth new scooter as we are celebrating our 20th business anniversary so we wanted to give him something special to mark the occasion.”
