Missing Inverness man traced after police appeal to public for help

A man reported missing from the Inverness area has been traced safe and well police said today.

Police Scotland thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance with this lookout alert for Rory Macmillan.

There was concern for the well-being of 43-year-old Mr Macmillan who was last seen in the Old Perth Road area of the city around 3.50pm on Monday.

Sergeant Tony Anderson appealed for anyone who had seen Mr Macmillan or who had any information on his whereabouts to contact the police, and also asked the missing man to get in touch.
