Man appears in private at Inverness Sheriff Court facing catalogue of charges including allegations of domestic abuse

An Inverness man has been in court facing allegations of domestic abuse and having an offensive weapon in public.

Martin Shaw (45) was also charged with a breach of the peace and two counts of threatening and abusive behaviour during the private hearing at Inverness Sheriff Court.

He made no plea and his case was committed for further examination.

He was released on bail to await a future court hearing.
