Police on mobile patrol in the Culloden area saw a suspected disqualified driver at the wheel of his car.

Officers stopped 60-year-old Kevin MacGregor, of Birchwood Place, Inverness and their suspicions were confirmed after a check.

As a result, MacGregor was also uninsured. At Inverness Sheriff Court, he admitted driving while banned and without insurance.

He was fined £420 and disqualified from driving for six months.
