Inverness man accused of murder bid with machete

A 29-year-old man has appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on two charges of attempted murder, both in the city.
One of Inverness man Malcolm MacLeod's allegations involve an alleged assault in October 2023 and the other alleged to have been committed with a machete last Friday.

He made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
MacLeod will appear again within the next eight days.
