An Inverness Indian restaurant and takeaway has announced it is closing from next week.

Ness Mahal in Academy Street says in an online customer notice that Sunday will be its last day.

It states: "As of the Monday the 5th of February we well be closed permanently.

"We should like to say big thanks to all our customers for there support."

The restaurant promotes itself as serving up authentic Indian and Bengali cuisine with a modern twist.
