Staff at the Inverness Ice Centre (IIC) were delighted to welcome two new coaches with 20 years of experience to their ice skating team.

Sibling teaching duo Sue Farrell-Summers and Graeme Campbell-Summers are both level three internationally and have produced Scottish champions and international medallists.

Ms Farrell-Summers said: “We are very excited about working as head coaches at IIC. We feel the centre has enormous potential and we are excited to be working with [CEO] Gordon [Barron] and his team.”

Board director and skater Carly Fraser had been commuting to Elgin to be coached by the pair, so is delighted they are now coming to Inverness.

She said: “For Inverness, this means the kids and adults have so much more choice, they will be welcomed to skate for fun and improvement no matter what level or age.”
