CHANGES to a plan for almost 50 new homes in the city’s Slackbuie area have been approved by Highland Council.

Tulloch Homes has been cleared to build 49 residential units and associated landscaping, roads and ancillary infrastructure on 1.9 hectares of vacant land about 100m south-east of 1 Earls Gate.

The application was submitted as part of a wider development first granted permission for 416 residential houses in 2008. It seeks to modify house types and plot layouts plus make minor modifications to the road layout and associated landscaping.

The original planning permission for the 49 units in Phase F of the development was granted in December 2020. No additional units are proposed on the site in question.

The mix of units comprise 12 three-bedroom semis, 12 three-bedroom detached and 25 four-bedroom detached units.
