Saffron Oriental Food Shop in Inverness thanks residents and customers for donations to its Ukrainian appeal

An Inverness store has thanked people for the donations to help Ukrainian refugees.

Saffron Oriental Food Shop, in Church Street, shared the news via social media.

In the post a spokesman said: "Thank you everyone for bringing donations for Ukraine to our shops.

"We are desperate for dry foods: pasta, rice, porridge, high energy bars, tinned food etc."
