A 27-year-old Inverness woman who was dealing drugs from a property in the city will be sentenced next month.

Chelsea Miller, of Ashton Road, appeared before Sheriff Gary Aitken and admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis between November 2021 and June 2023 at a house in Evan Barron Road.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard that police executed a search warrant on September 4 and scales and a quantity of cannabis were found.

Fiscal depute Alison Young told the court: "A mobile phone was found and messages on it indicated drugs were being sold. Four bags of herbal material marked 'police bag' were also discovered."

Mrs Young said they contained over 56 grams of the Class B drug and had a maximum street value of £620.

"A man was arrested at the same time and he has still to be dealt with," Mrs Young added.

Sentence was deferred until December 5 for a background report and Miller's bail was continued.
