An Inverness city centre cafe has temporarily closed due to "a covid isolation".

Perk Coffee and Doughnuts, in Church Street, said it needed to close for a couple of days to ensure staff were all tested and safe.

In a post on social media, it stated: "Once we’re all in full health we will be back, so keep your eyes peeled for updates.

"Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

"We can’t wait to get back to business as usual."

The business specialises in artisan coffees and handmade doughnuts.
