Officers from the Inverness Dog Section were invited to attend at Charleston Academy on Friday afternoon last week.

While they were there they completed a number of training exercises.

Police dog Fergie and trainee police dog Chief demonstrated a number of search exercises throughout the school with members of staff.

Local community police officer Davie Grant explained: "We want to work alongside our colleagues in schools on issues like drugs.

"Together we can educate pupils on the dangers of drugs and the devastating effect they have on our communities.

"We want to prevent drugs misuse within schools across the Highlands."
