A WHITE wedding of sorts was the order of the day when the weather added a little wintry splash to the latest Inverness Courier Highland Wedding Fair on Sunday.
But the occasional snow shower did little to dampen the warm welcome – or the enthusiasm of the crowds – as people packed into Eden Court in Inverness to check out dozens of exhibitors and their deals for the 'big day'.
Up to 60 exhibitors were present on the day, covering all aspects of weddings, from photography, to venues, and catering to attire.
And those exhibiting were delighted by the warm reception from the public.

Oskar Gilchrist, of the Sonas Hotel Collection on Skye, said: “It’s been really busy– it’s been brilliant.” The hotel group was running a competition on the day for one lucky couple to win a £500 ‘Mini-Moon’ on Skye, and the Mr Gilchrist was pleased with the reception to both it and the stand.
Elsewhere, multi-award winning photographer Morag Martin of Ceamara Photography, from Keith, said people had been “really interested” in making bookings and that the event has been “good” for business.
Other exhibitors included the likes of Sligachan Hotel, the Fat Pigeon Wine Company, Fuze Ceremonies, award-winning wedding band Wonderland, Spud the Piper, Alison White Photography, Andy Allan Photography, and many more – spread out across two floors of the popular theatre and cinema venue.
