Lorne Balfe raffles Black Adam signed score for Highland Hospice

Award-winning Inverness composer Lorne Balfe is raffling a signed musical score from the recording for the latest DC Comics blockbuster movie Black Adam, which is currently out in cinemas.

The score has been signed by Dwayne Johnson aka 'The Rock’ himself who takes the lead role in the film, as well as Lorne and all the musicians who played on the soundtrack.

Donations will go directly to Highland Hospice to raise vital funds for the care of patients and their families in the area.

Amanda Forbes at Highland Hospice said: "Over the years Lorne has done a number of different raffles for us!"

Back in June, Lorne raffled a signed Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One trailer score, which raised £2,534 for Highland Hospice.

In his career as a composer, Lorne has worked with German film score producer Hans Zimmer and as a score producer on films such as Top Gun: Maverick. Among the many big film projects Lorne has created music for have been Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Terminator Genisys and most recently comedy Man Vs Bee starring Rowan Atkinson. Among the many high-profile TV series Lorne has also composed the music for is the BBC/HBO hit His Dark Materials and American period drama series Genius, for which Lorne was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for outstanding original main title music theme.
