Two Inverness city centre thoroughfares will be closed to traffic for five more days.

Vehicles will be unable to use Union Street and part of Church Street until July 25.

The closure started at 6am today and runs to 6am on Tuesday.

It comes after the roads were closed from 7pm-6am each night since Monday this week.

The closure is for "urgent sewer repair works".

It looks like pedestrian access to homes and businesses on both streets will be unaffected.
