PETROLHEADS and fans of spectacular stunts are set for a treat when the Inverness Car Show comes to the shores of Loch Ness this weekend – but time is running out to nab some discounted tickets.
Up to 1000 cars are expected to be on display – from the stunning world famous lines of the Aston Martin DB4 to high performance sports cars and everything in between. Indeed, organisers are promising something for everyone, with a range of performance, modified, street, classic, retro and race cars and motorbikes set to appear.
Not only that but multiple stunt shows featuring back flips and other eye-catching feats will take place on the day.
And for the little ones a kids fun zone featuring bouncy castles and rides are also set to delight.
Food fans will also get the chance to enjoy tasty treats in the food village, which will feature a range of traders.
The show, which is dog friendly and features free parking, runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday and will take place at the old RockNess site at Dores.
Tickets on the day will cost £15 for adults, £10 concessions and under 12s go free.
But book your tickets before Wednesday and you'll be able to enjoy the event at an even lower price, with advance bookings costing £12 for adults and just £7 for concessions.
Show manager James Stephen is no stranger to the Highlands, with his team also running the very popular Drift cars at Golspie every September.
Outwith the Highlands they also organise the Aberdeen performance show, the Bo'ness car show and the Scottish performance show.
