Caley Thistle heroes might soon be giving a rousing rendition of “hair we go…” after getting behind the Archie Foundation’s Beards for Bairns fundraiser.

Jamie McCart, David Carson, Charlie Trafford and Jordan White will be sporting extensive new whiskers for the local children’s hospital charity – and are asking club supporters and others to follow their example.

The Archie Team wants local men to be sponsored for ditching the razor between Christmas Day and Burns’ Night. The annual event raises cash to improve the experience of children staying in hospital.

Sign up is at justgiving.com/campaign/beardsforbairnshighlands.

People can nominate men to take part, with their nominator kick-starting fundraising. If the nominee declines, they are asked to donate.
