A project which aims to make Inverness a coach friendly city is looking for £12,987 in funding.

Inverness BID has applied to Highland Council's Inverness Common Good Fund for a grant to help run its Coach Ambassador Project 2023.

It has been recommended that members of the council's city of Inverness area committee approve the application tomorrow.

If the committee approves the applications funding would be subject to the approval of the 2023/24 budget.

The project uses Ardross Street as a designated coach drop off and pick up point and the important role is undertaken by the designated BID coach ambassadors.
