Inverness BID is hoping that a city centre community safety project project can continue with council funding.

The organisation has applied to Highland Council's Inverness Common Good Fund for a grant of £11,596 and it has been recommended that it be approved.

Operation Respect Easter, summer and autumn 2023 aims to reduce crime, the fear of crime and anti social behaviour and provides increased public reassurance and safety.

The city of Inverness area committee will consider the application today and, if it is approved, it will be subject to the approval of the 2023/24 budget.
