Inverness group Scooty & the Skyhooks' new song for the Scottish Cup Final, "Caley Caley," will be made public at 6pm tonight.

The soul band gave fans the opportunity to send in their own clips celebrating Inverness Caledonian Thistle (ICTFC) reaching the Scottish Cup Final.

These clips are to become a part of a music video for the band’s new song which includes names of Inverness players in the lyrics.

“We had an amazing response,” the band's drummer Norman MacLean said of the request for contributions. “There were more than we could use.”

Norman said the people sending videos ranged “from young kids to senior citizens” including some featuring local schools holding banners to wish the team good luck and others from fans from beyond Scotland.

“It’s a video for the community and from the community,” Norman said.

The band hopes people will sing along to the song at the final when it takes place at Hampden on June 3.

The song and video will be available on the ICTFC YouTube channel when it debuts.
