THE 35-year-old man reported injured on an Inverness street has been discharged from hospital after treatment police have said.

View Place in the city centre was cordoned off in the early hours (Tuesday November 1) as police examined the scene, but re-opened in early afternoon.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.25am on Tuesday, 1 November 2022, officers were called to a report of an injured man on View Place, Inverness.

"The 35-year-old was taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness where he was treated by medical staff and has since been discharged.

“Inquiries into the incident are ongoing."
