A82 closed in both directions at Lochend causes delays

A ROAD traffic incident has caused the closure in both directions of the A82 near Lochend earlier this morning, Traffic Scotland have announced.

MOTORISTS travelling on the A82 between Dunain Park and Drumnadrochit were advised to find an alternative route, with delays expected on the way.

Lanes in both directions were cleared by 9.40am.

On their website, Traffic Scotland says: "The A82 is restricted in both directions between Drumnrochit and Lochend due to a road traffic incident. Road users should exercise caution on approach and expect longer than normal journey times."
