YOUNG brothers who took on a triathlon fundraising challenge for lifeboat volunteers have made a huge splash with the RNLI.

Robbie (6) and Fergus (2) Bissett from the Black Isle swam lengths of the pool in Inverness – Fergus with some help from mum, Kim – and then ran laps of the track before cycling across the Kessock Bridge.

They were encouraged on their way by Kessock RNLI volunteers and charity mascot, Stormy Stan. Thanks to the “overwhelming generosity” of supporters, Kim said, the pair doubled their initial target, handing £1000-plus to the charity.
