ICYMI: Bad weather fails to dampen spirits at Culloden Run

It is hoped improvements can be made by organisers after bad weather affected the recording of race finishing times of this year’s Culloden Run.

More than 450 entrants braved the elements on Sunday raising an incredible £14,000 for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland which will help those living with the conditions. Graham Bee set a new course record of 1hr and 41secs for the 17.46k run.

Paul Corrigan, the charity’s fundraising manager for the north of Scotland, said a good time was had by all and added: “Unfortunately, with the bad weather came some problems and we have been made aware that there were some issues with our race timing results. We are working with Thistle Timing to resolve this issue.”
