Hundreds of pounds worth of tools stolen from Inverness Royal Academy construction site

POLICE have appealed for information after power tools worth hundreds of pounds were stolen from a construction site at Inverness Royal Academy.

"Between 4.30pm on Monday and 7am yesterday site security was overcome before power tools and other building equipment - valued at a mid three figure sum - were removed," said a police spokeswoman.

As part of enquiries oolice are appealing to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious to make contact via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
