Nairn County FC organised collections of humanitarian aid to send to Ukraine.

Nairn County FC secretary Ian Finlayson has thanked the public who donated generously to their humanitarian aid collection for the war in Ukraine.

The collections were held at Station Park earlier this month, including one before a Highland League match with Strathspey Thistle.

Ian said: "Thank you to the people of Nairn and from many miles around who donated to our Ukrainian collection.

"We received over 300 boxes and bags containing vitally needed equipment such as medical supplies, hygiene and toiletries, warm sleeping bags and so much more.

"All was gratefully received and will head off to help the Ukrainian people."
