Raigmore Estate saw a massive police presence this morning.

There was a massive police presence on Raigmore Estate in Inverness following a disturbance at a property on Mackintosh Road.

Initial reports suggested that more than a dozen emergency vehicles responded.

Police Scotland confirmed that a 41-year-old man was taken to the nearby Raigmore Hospital for treatment and a 56-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

A member of the public on social media claimed that they had counted 17 police cars and six ambulances with blue lights driving past Kwik Fit on Millburn Road on their way to the scene.

The scene has since calmed down with just one car stationed at the property with officers in the area.
