Highland Council closes all household waste recycling centres to the public in wake of Covid-19 coronavirus lockdown; kerb-side recycling unaffected

ALL household waste recycling centres in the Highlands have closed to the public with immediate effect - following the announcement of the nationwide coronavirus lockdown.

Highland Council confirmed the closures in a quick Tweet to the public on Tuesday morning.

Kerb-side recycling and waste services continue, although the brown garden waste bin collections have been suspended.
