Scottish Fire and Rescue Service respond to house fire in Invermoriston, Police Scotland officers close off one lane of neighbouring A82 while firefighters on scene

A 22-STRONG crew of fire fighters are trying to put out a fire at a two-storey house in Invermoriston.

Four fire tenders are on scene and crews are using water from a hose reel and main jet as well as breathing apparatus in their ongoing efforts.

A spokeswoman at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was reported just after midday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said officers had to close off one-lane of the A82 while emergency services worked at the scene.
