House damaged by fire in Inverness

A house in Inverness has been damaged by a fire this morning.

The occupants of the property in St Valery Avenue were safely evacuated prior to crews arriving at the scene.

The alarm was raised at just before 6am today.

Three crews from Inverness and one from Drumnadrochit were sent to the scene, as well as police.

They are equipped with pumps and a height vehicle, while the incident is ongoing.

There are no reports of injuries.
