Hot Legs will be on show at Clachnacuddin FC’s popular annual dinner 2024 as Rod Stewart and Tina Turner tribute acts perform.

Adding to the theme on February 10, there will also be an interval performance by a top local dance group.

While it should be a night of fun, entertainment, laughter and good food at the Kingsmills Hotel, club director and secretary Scott Dowling underlined the importance of the evening to the Merkinch club.

“Events like this are huge for us. Every penny is a prisoner at our level,” he stressed.

“All of these fundraising events go a long way towards keeping the club going. The more people who come along, the better and the support we receive is hugely appreciated.

“It really does make a difference.

“We held the dinners for many years but they stopped for a period of time. It was relaunched last year, to huge success, so it is one we’re looking to continue and grow.”

Toe 2 Toe Dance, Clach’s Grant Street neighbours based at the old Clach Club, have been invited to perform during the interval.

“We have a great relationship with them, so we thought it would be quite nice to get them along and let them showcase what they do,” Mr Dowling said.

“With the two tribute acts, we were looking for something a little bit different, but hopefully they will appeal to most people in attendance.”

There are still some spaces left for the night, with individual tickets on sale at £50 and tables of 10 for £500.

Clach’s first team is away to Brora that day, but the Cattachs have agreed to a 2pm kick-off to enable the Lilywhites’ travelling party to make it back from Sutherland in good time.

However, should Brora beat Cove Rangers in the Scottish Cup fourth round, the visit of Clach to Dudgeon Park will be cancelled giving the Inverness players and staff the day off.

Tickets are available at info@clachfc.co.uk, corporate@clachfc.co.uk, or at the club website www.clachfc.co.uk
