The Home Office has contacted Lance Corporal Dennis Omondi to say that his daughter Anne’s visa application now meets UK immigration rules.

The change follows action by local MP, Drew Hendry.

Since hearing about the couple’s plight, Mr Hendry has led the campaign to reunite the family, including raising the issue personally with the Prime Minister and the Home Secretary. His work, on their behalf, secured a review of their case which Mr Omondi has now been informed has been concluded.
