Hollywood star Tilda Swinton helps deliver food boxes to elderly residents of Queenspark Gardens sheltered housing in Nairn during coronavirus lockdown

Hollywood star Tilda Swinton, who lives in Nairn, has done her bit during the coronavirus lockdown.

Together with her family she delivered food boxes to each of the residents of Queenspark Gardens sheltered housing in the town yesterday.

Their good deed was recognised by local people who took to social media to show their gratitude for the act of kindness.

Ms Swinton is an actress who is well-known for her roles in both independent arthouse films and Hollywood blockbusters alike.
