Inverness BID welcomes latest announcement by Nicola Sturgeon which places the Highlands and Islands into tier one of the coronavirus regulations easing restrictions on the hospitality industry

Today's announcement by the First Minister has been highlighted by Inverness BID.

The Highlands and Islands region has been placed into tier one which will make it easier for certain businesses to operate.

It will take effect from Monday from 6am and means hospitality businesses will be able to sell alcohol, both indoors and outdoors, with certain time restrictions.

In a Facebook post Inverness BID said: COVID-19 PROTECTION LEVEL ONE for Highlands & Islands from Monday 2nd November at 6am has been announced today by the First Minister. This will be reviewed weekly on a Tuesday with the first review on November 10."
