Taxi drivers in the Highland capital are to donate part of each fare next week to help the people of Ukraine following Russia's invasion.

Inverness Taxis will put £1 aside from each customer until £4000 is raised for refugees from the country.

The scheme starts on Monday (March 14).

A donation box will also be set up in the firm's office on Church Street if any other taxi drivers wish to donate.
