Highland Pride have confirmed the route that their march will take through Inverness later this month.

Taking place on Saturday, July 22, the march will be free to take part in – although anyone under 16 must be accompanied by someone who is at least 21 years old, and a wristband will be required to enter the Pride village at the Northern Meeting Park afterwards.

Highland Pride returns later this month for the first time since 2019.

Those marching are being asked to gather at Crown Primary School by 2.15pm on the afternoon as the march will set off at 2.30pm.

A queuing system will be in place at the assembly point to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.

The parade will then proceed down Stephen's Brae and through the High Street, before heading over Ness Bridge.

From there, it will proceed down Ness Walk and Ardross Terrace to get to the Northern Meeting Park, where organisers expect those marching to arrive by 3pm.

Flags, banners and placards are encouraged on the march, and a free placard-making workshop will take place on the afternoon of Friday, July 21 at the Circus Artspace in Inverness.
