The march will leave from Crown Primary School at 1.30pm on Saturday, June 22, with attendees asked to be at the assembly point at least 10 minutes before.

Participants will then proceed down Stephen’s Brae, and along the High Street as far as Church Street.

From there marchers will go up Church Street before walking along Baron Taylor’s Street, crossing Academy Street to reach the final destination of Falcon Square.

Should Falcon Square begin to become too full, participants will be directed to Inglis Street and Eastgate Shopping Centre.

There are no age restrictions on who can march in the parade, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by someone aged at least 21 years old.

No tickets are required to join the march although groups of 10 or more people are being asked to register, and flags, banners and placards are encouraged.

This year’s Pride event will look somewhat different to past years, with no party immediately following the parade.

There will, however, be stalls at Eastgate on the day of the march between noon and 4pm.
