Vandals have damaged another Highland Hospice decorated Coo which lost a horn as a result in Inverness.

The highly decorated art installation was placed in Ness Walk across the road from Inverness Cathedral.

It is the third beast to be damaged in the city and is part of a fundraising art trail.

Jenna Hayden, hospice fundraiser, said, “We are disappointed that our lovely Juniper Moon has been damaged. However, a replacement horn is being made and we are delighted to say this coo will be back to its full glory next Monday.”

“There’s such a great vibe everywhere we go with people coo-spotting. However, it’s so important that nobody sits on these pieces of art as today we’ve had to take Church Street’s ‘The Coo’s Trail’ away until next week to be fixed in places.”

“Thanks so much to everyone who’s supporting our art trail, the feedback continues to be tremendous from our droves of coo spotters.”
