Inverness Sheriff Court heard that a breath test proved negative for alcohol but positive for cannabis and subsequent blood analysis showed Kidd was almost twice the legal limit for driving.

His reading was 3.9mcgs of the drug when the legal driving limit is 2mcgs.

Kidd, of Greenside Street, Rosemarkie admitted drug-driving and was fined £380. He was also disqualified from driving for three years.
