HUNDREDS of revellers from Ross-shire were amongst the tens of thousands who flocked to Dundee back in the summer for Radio 1's Big Weekend to see bands including Lewis Capaldi, 30 Seconds to Mars and The 1975.
In-demand Black Isle designer Siobhan Mackenzie also has fond memories of the event having been asked to create a bespoke kilt for DJ Greg James.
A free-to-visit pop-up exhibition at the city's landmark V&A Dundee celebrates the event including contributions from festival-goers, Breakfast show listeners and stage outfits and props donated by some of the top acts.
That includes former Fortrose Academy pupil Siobhan's handiwork.
Radio 1’s Big Weekend Experience is open at V&A Dundee until January 7, 2024.
