PART of Fort Augustus - Whitebridge - Inverness road will be closed tomorrow (Thursday November 4) for essential resurfacing work.

Diversions will be in place via minor roads, but they are unsuitable for HGVs which will not be permitted warned Highland Council.

The closure will be between the B862's junction with the C1080 Inverfarigaig – Errogie road and its junction with the unclassified U1092 Wester Aberchalder Road.

Asphalt is being laid on extending passing places through the village's new enhanced southern gateway, said Highland Council.
